Continuity Gap Alert: All the humans can understand the non-humans. Other then Doug who had nanotranslators so he can understand them.
Continuity Gap Resolution: While not specifically mentioned to Doug in the comic, the translators also automatically make you speak the native language if you are on a planet that is not part of the galactic network (whom all member have the translators) assuming you can speak it. Slime Doug’s and humans happen to have similar enough vocal ranges to speak each others languages, Shapeshifters’ (whatever that species is called) can do any vocal range due to there ability to shipshape. Finally Slim Doug had the nanotranslators implanted before coming to earth.
The Supreme Being seams to have sent Doug to earth for some entertainment for himself. He could have easily fixed the computer and got Doug fired on his own, considering he is able to warp him around and such. Stupid Supreme Beings and there Supremeness.
Next week: Can Qwerty survive carbon freezing?
Still pretty sure there playing along.

Somebody has been paying more attention than I do!
😉
Well this whole earth sequence wouldn’t have probably been able to happen if you were.
Um… the Supreme Being took care of it all… (yeah, that’s the ticket)

Well I guess that answers the question of how deep comments can nest. 😛
