Mixed feeling here.
It’s is amazing, I was hypnotised for 8 minutes, but what for?….. How many plates of food wasted…..?
I understand what you mean but I have no mixed feelings here. Yes, NASA spends a lot of money, but it’s less than half a percent of the latest budget. We spend more per year for pet food in the US. Some expenses we’ve done in just the past couple years (bank bailout for example) are more than NASA’s total expenditures since it was created. Every government program could be run better but I think we get more exploration, scientific knowledge, and more bang for the buck out of NASA’s expenses than many others in the US budget.
