Brrrrrrr!

We got hit by the ice storm in New England this weekend. The storm came through on Thursday night and we fared well. No trees or big limbs through the house or car and we still had power. Then about 4:00pm Friday the power goes out. We farmed our son to friends who had lost their power as well but had heat. Our daughter stayed with us Friday night and it got COLD. She went to a friends house the next night and we had plans to go to my in-laws but the power came back Saturday night. Everyone is home and warm tonight. We were without power for 24 hours and it wasn’t any fun. We know people who have been without power since Thursday night so we had it easy.
